About GoGreen

Hi, this is Marina from Girl Scout Troop 34900 in Riyadh. This project is part of my Girl Scout Gold Award Project. The U.S.A Girls Scout Gold Award aims to make a sustainable change in communities around the world. The goals for GoGreen are to spread awareness on the impact of consuming animal products and inspire sustainable plant-based meals in Riyadh. With the help of my wonderful team, we have created this website for our community to encourage sustainable dietary choices.

About the GoGreen website

The GoGreen website has three main articles on the health, environmental, and animal welfare impacts of animal agriculture, to help inform our community on sustainable diets. The website also includes a 1-week plant-based challenge as a guide to starting plant-based eating, as well as posts on plant-based resources available in Riyadh. Major thanks to my team members, R.A., J.T., A.A., J.E., L.O. and E.R. for ideas and guidance on the project!
